Child and Babysitting Safety

American Professional Educational Services

At American Professional Educational Services (APES), we recognize the importance of safety and preparedness in childcare, which is why we offer the Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) class. This course is designed for young people, including teens and pre-teens, who are interested in providing babysitting services or who have responsibilities for younger siblings at home.

The CABS class at APES covers a wide range of topics essential for safe and effective child care. Participants will learn about child behavior and age-appropriate activities, the basics of injury prevention and first aid, diapering and feeding techniques, and strategies for managing emergencies with confidence. Additionally, the course provides useful tips on starting a babysitting business, such as how to communicate effectively with parents and build a trustworthy reputation.

Our interactive approach combines engaging lectures with hands-on activities, role-playing scenarios, and discussions to ensure that students not only understand the material but can also apply their knowledge in practical situations. The goal is to equip our students with the skills needed to handle babysitting challenges professionally and safely.

Upon completion of the CABS class, participants will receive a certification that acknowledges their preparedness to provide knowledgeable and responsible care for children. This certification can be a valuable asset for young individuals looking to earn extra income through babysitting and for parents who want peace of mind knowing their children are in capable hands.

Join the Child and Babysitting Safety class at APES and take the first step toward becoming a skilled and trusted babysitter, ready to tackle any situation that comes your way with confidence and expertise.
