Personal Loans
CorePlus Federal Credit Union offers loans to qualified students with re-payment options up to 60 months, at any Core Plus Federal Credit Union Branch.
Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act
Displaced workers and those who are also underemployed who are seeking job re-training may qualify for free tuition and fees for our EMT, EKG and Phlebotomy programs. Applications can be obtained from the American Job Center East (formerly CT Works).
Connecticut Indian Council
The CIC is an organization that can help Native Americans living in the State of Connecticut who are enrolled members of a State or Federally Recognized Tribe. We help displaced workers and those who are also under employed who are seeking job training or re-training. GI Bill®
Our Programs are eligible for tuition assistance through the Veterans Administration GI Bill®. GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
MyCAA (Military Spouses Career Advancement Accounts)
Eligible spouses can receive up to $4000 of MyCAA Financial Assistance to support their “Portable Career Goals”. To Register for the program, go to their website.
Joseph M. Battista Scholarship
The family of Joseph M. Battista, a newly licensed paramedic who was tragically killed while on vacation, has established a Scholarship Fund. This fund accepts applications for students interested in pursuing their Paramedic License through American Professional Educational Services. Download the application here.
Hunter's Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Memorial Fund has been established for the purposes of providing education programs, training programs, and financial awards for educational related expenses to individuals pursuing or furthering their education or training in the fields of emergency medical services, healthcare, and related fields in their communities, including but not limited to physicians, physician’s assistants, nurses, certified nursing assistants, and police and fire personnel. Download the application here.
